For those of you who have been following my journey, you all know that I have been staying here in Thailand for a couple of years now. Everyday living my dream of writing and the independence this decision has given me. Everything and every single day had been worthwhile.
I have been to different places here in Thailand and each has their own unique presence and culture. Some are busy streets with busy people, a few are just modest, quiet and has its own approach to a simple but meaningful daily life.
Now is the perfect time for me to share with you each and every detail of my Thai adventures. A chance for me to story-tell how this wonderful country has changed each aspect of my life for the better. And how it could have the same effect for you, too. I hope I would be able to serve as an inspiration for those of you who have long been wanting to live the life you’ve dreamed of. My journey has not been easy but the decision to try and pursue had surely paid off.
I will soon release my next book based on my adventures in Thailand specifically my wonderful experience in the three cities/province I have been to: Phuket, Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Let me share a few bits of info about these to you.
Phuket is Thailand’s largest island. It is well-known for its wonderful gift of nature and beaches. This place has a lot to offer for its locals and tourists alike such as beach relaxation, island tours, diving, delicious food and its fair share of its own unique culture. And when I say culture, this town has its own ancient story. I have been to the eastern part of Phuket and it will scream history and you’d say to yourself that Phuket is not just all sand and sea after all. From the people to the houses and architectures, Phuket surely is an interesting place to check out.
Bangkok is a majestic city. It is the capital of Thailand, the most popular and most populated one as well. I have been to Bangkok for quite a number of times now. Wonderful views of golden palaces, floating markets, some luxury hotels and surprisingly, some affordable apartments, too. I’ve always had the unforgettable experiences in each visit I made in Bangkok. But aside from the fabulous things I’ve mentioned, it is the hospitality of the people here that would make your travel and stay much more interesting, fun and humbling all at once.
Chiang Mai is located in Northern Thailand and is the largest in this area.
This is where I’ve decided to move into. And I’m loving the weather of Chiang Mai than that of Phuket’s or Bangkok’s. I am now used to the warmth this place offers.
Chiang Mai offers a vast of sceneries, places to explore and things to do. You can find the tallest mountain in Thailand, visit the National Museum and the Botanical Garden.
If you love bazaar, the Night Bazaar is definitely one for you to check when you’re in Chiang Mai. You can travel the area by foot or with a bike or scooter.
The atmosphere is much different than that of Bangkok. Chiang Mai offers a more nature-feel adventure and cleaner air. The Thai culture is much felt or present when you are in Chiang Mai.
